IN HONOR OF:
~~ saturnplanet ~~ from YouTube, who used to be a famous YouTuber known for making an amazing Sailor Moon videos of transformations. Her/his most know video was Planet Power transformation of Sailor Saturn that she/he updated many times being closer and closer to perfection. She/he also created Crystal Powers for Outer Sailor Scouts that were different from the most popular fanvision of their items. I really liked their designs. They were so good!

However, sometime between 2010 and 2012 her/his account was removed for unknown for me reasons. I really miss her/him as I always waited for new videos from them. Recently I was browsing my Sailor Moon folders and found one of their videos. And I got an idea that in honor of them I will draw special super transformations wands for Outer Sailor Senshi that she/he once designed on YouTube. Everyone, please, enjoy this new picture from me and of course wait for more!

EXPLANATION:
This is the Crystal Lip Rod transformation wand for Sailor Pluto or more properly for Setsuna Meio to become Super Sailor Pluto in the 5th season of the anime.

This design belongs to ~~ saturnplanet ~~ from YouTube. I happen to have a copy of their Super Sailor Neptune transformation from 2008, in which they show a new wand for Michiru. Sadly, they didn't manage to make ones for Haruka, Setsuna and Hotaru. Because I don't want the design to vanish forever, I decided to draw this design for all of the Outer Scouts.

Update of the Info on 29th of September 2012 at 21:24 GMT+1 - as pointed out by ~VanMak dA user, this design and concept actually belongs to a friend of ~~ saturnplanet ~~ for whom ~~ saturnplanet ~~ made the video with design that belonged to her/his friend. I don't know if it is true because I don't recall such info from the videos' description, but I put this information in the sake of fairness and security. Thanks ~VanMak for pointing this out!

Previous Info: Second stage of Sailor Senshi gives Sailor Pluto a lot more power and new attack. Now she can fight new stronger enemies and defend her celestial object – Pluto. Such transformation never occurred in the anime, but Sailor Pluto transformed into her super form. This is ~~ saturnplanet ~~'s vision of her super henshin that was never shown on screen.

DETAILS:
As I mentioned it earlier the design belongs to ~~ saturnplanet ~~, a former YouTube user. I didn't created it, I just decided to draw the wands that ~~ saturnplanet ~~ had in mind. Originally, they only shown wand for Sailor Neptune. Uranus, Pluto and Saturn never managed to get their own. I believe it was like this because only Michiru's seiyuu recorded the "<planet> Crystal Power, Make Up!" transformation phrase.

The design consists of various elements from other items from Sailor Moon anime. The base of the wand, as you immediately noticed, is the Pluto Lip Rod from the 3rd season. And because of that I decided to reuse the newly updated Pluto Lip Rod I posted 2 weeks ago and edit it to fit the design of the Neptune's that was shown in the video. I find that really comfortable and time saving It will really speed up making more Crystal Lip Rods.

The ear attached to to handle of the wand comes of course from Crystal Change Rods deviations. I decided to reuse the lineart of one of my wands and edit it little to make its shape rounded. In the video of Neptune's henshin made by ~~ saturnplanet ~~, the handle and the ear (from Crystal Change Rod) were in new light blue color (or at least that's how it looked like). I recolored the handle and ear into newly chosen blue color.

The star at the top comes from Star Power Stick if you haven't noticed it. I reused the lineart I did in 2009 and slightly modified it to make the star symmetrical and with rounded well-defined nice edges. In the center of the star there is the Pluto planetary symbol. This is new anime style version of the symbol. I started using it since the opened version of Pluto Javy Star Brooch posted in 2011.


As for the background I decided to make something similar that appears in the video of ~~ saturnplanet ~~'s Neptune Crystal Power transformation animation. To make this BG I decided to reuse the background I once drawn for Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack.
