EXPLANATION:
This is the Cosmic Shine Disk for Sailor Cosmos or more properly for ____ ____ to become first power level cosmic senshi Sailor Cosmos.

This brooch appeared in every Sailor Moon versions where Sailor Cosmos was presented. It was never named and was never said to be a transformation item. It's very little known about it and fact that it was shown from distance makes it not so detailed.

For the name I decided to come with nice name. I opted for combining three facts: it's for Cosmos, its symbol is a golden star and it looks like a disk. I think it sounds nice and I quite like it. Beside, it was never named and any name is good. This is my opinion.

There was one special video that inspired me to do this brooch for Sailor Cosmos. It was done by ~javy27saturn and here's the link to it: [link] I think it's an awesome animation. It was pretty hard knowing this video and come up with new fresh idea that was different.

If you ask me what I think about Sailor Cosmos, I say that Sailor Cosmos is different entity than Usagi. Sailor Cosmos is a very distant descendant of Sailor Moon. Cosmos is not a reincarnation of Usagi but it's a related to her chosen Lunar Senshi to stay on the guard of Universe.

DETAILS:
Disk is mostly in white. Sometimes people color it with light blue. However, I wanted to go with white. Star is colored in my universal golden and frame is colored in my secondary universal gold. Gems in crown are colored in light blue used by me for Silver Crystal. I also used red for crown as this part is often red in crowns.

My changes to original design include crown, transparent wings and wings similar to Super Sailor Moon's hair decoration. Crown was added to fill empty space, transparent wings appear on transformed Cosmos but I wanted to make them smaller. Hair deco is here because I dislike simple pearls.

I planned to add other details. They were colors representing canon Solar System senshi in form of flowery petals in each corner of brooch (between star's arms). Also I wanted to add something at the bottom. It was three white starseeds but I thought it could be too much. I'll use these ideas later.

Hands come from some random anime I found on YT searching for anime girls transformations. I think it looks very good. I used these previously on Galaxia's brooch. However, I moved them down for better view. For the nails I chose white color - one I use as universal colors for other brooches.

As you may have lernt, almost every object from manga isn't associated with background. For Cosmic Shine Disk I decided to use existing one. It comes from 'Moon Eternal'. It's that background that appear in Usagi's outlines when her symbol appear on forehead.

Pink, green, blue and white colors, stars in two sizes and polygons in pink and blue make this background very similar to the original one. I added bubbles to make it looks more nicer. I've chosen this bg because I think it suits Sailor Cosmos quite well.

PERSONAL INFO:
I'm still working on henshin items for *Shinwa-Tsuki and wands for ~evilredcaboose. I can't get good idea on this two. Nothing comes into my head but I know what it will be.

I have summer holidays now and I spend most of the time with my friends from previous school. We don't have much time to see each other during school year so vacations are great ocasion ^^
