EXPLANATION:
This is a Transformation Brooch for manga Sailor Moon or more properly for Usagi Tsukino to become first season manga Sailor Moon.

Do not steal the lines of this brooch and color palette! It was already stolen by someone and I don't want it to happen again! This brooch here was not traced from anywhere and shouldn't be traced!

Usagi Tsukino used this brooch to transform. It was her first henshin item called just Transformation Brooch from first season given to her by Luna.

As the title says, this is manga version of that brooch. However I had some problems on deciding shape of it as Naoko Takeuchi was changing design of 1st brooch each page of manga and artbook.

DETAILS:
As I mentioned above, 1st manga brooch has many designs. They vary from this one to anime one. We can see that each page brooch evolved. Anime brooch is the easiest one we can see in artbooks.

This one however appeared in actual manga. But even there it was changing. Sometimes the middle circle with star is higher and even without star. That drop under red gem also had tendency to disappear. Same goes for white pearls.

The moon with many details was moving up and down, and sometimes it wasn't that wide as can be seen here. This drove me crazy, because Naoko T. couldn't decide how this brooch should look like. She created great serie but messed 1st brooch.

And colors. Four outer gems symbolise Inners. Order of colors comes from anime brooch. Naoko was changing this aspect as well. I decided to make moon gold for contrast with light blue rest. I thought the drop should be reddish like blood.

The brooch is light blue in general, because it looks like silver and that color was image color for manga Sailor Moon. Pearls are white like Usagi's hairpins. Middle star is gold because stars are gold and it has red gem inside for contrast.

I also added more shades to the Transformation Brooch as one presented in the manga had realy small amount of them and looked plain. Now I think it looks more magical.

For this henshin I had to decide some background. I decided to recreate background from 'Moon Crisis' Usagi and Chibiusa appear leaning against each others back.

As you can see background is white/yellow, light blue and dark blue. It has some shiny small and big stars. There are also pink and blue hexagons. I think it makes this background quite similar to original one.

PERSONAL INFO:
I'm still working on henshin items for *Shinwa-Tsuki and wands for ~evilredcaboose. I can't get good idea on this two. Nothing comes into my head but I know what it will be.

I have summer holidays now and I spend most of the time with my friends from previous school. We don't have much time to see each other during school year so vacations are great ocasion ^^
