*SilverStar-Aanti, who asked me to design and draw the Saint Sailor Moon and Saint Sailor Neo Moon's brooches (along with one more secret item) that can be seen on Usagi and Chibiusa's Saint costumes (see them here on the individual deviations for Saint Sailor Moon: [link]? and Saint Sailor Neo Moon: [link]? ). Here is the second one that belongs to Chibiusa.

I had fun drawing it and I really enjoyed coloring with your own chosen colors I treat this deviation as a suggested thank-you gift for you for all the items you did for my OC Senshi, especially the Star Power Brooches for Starlight form and items for my Sailor Earth! EXPLANATION:
This is the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch for Sailor Neo Moon (formerly known as Sailor Chibi Moon) or more properly for Chibiusa Tsukino to become Saint Sailor Neo Moon in the Sailor Moon - Holy Relic season, a fanmade 6th season by: *SilverStar-Aanti.

The design presented here is made by Me and *SilverStar-Aanti! This is not an official design by Naoko Takeuchi or Toei Animation! Do not use it for your characters, because you are not allowed to do it! Don't ask for permission, because you won't receice it! Please, read the "details" section for further information! And don't steal!

Sailor Moon - Holy Relic is (as mentioned earlier in this section) a fanmade 6th season of Sailor Moon created by *SilverStar-Aanti. The action takes place after the 5th season (Sailor Moon Sailor Stars). The Solar System is in danger again and all the Sailor Senshi must reunite. With the reawakening of Sailor Satellite, a mysterious Senshi, a new hope is born. In order to protect the Solar System, Sailor Senshi must activate the new powers.

In the new season, which is Sailor Moon - Holy Relic, Sailor Chibi Moon returns from the 30th century back to the 20th century to see her future mother and her guardian Inner Senshi. Now, known as Sailor Neo Moon, she is 14 years old and has her own Asteroid Senshi and guards the Crystal Tokyo in the 30th century. What is more, during the unfolded events from the 30th century, Chibiusa gains an Eternal form and is almost equal in power to Sailor Moon.

In Sailor Moon - Holy Relic, all canon Sailor Senshi achieve the Eternal forms. This also counts for six new warriors (*SilverStar-Aanti's Original Characters), Sailors: Satellite, Sol, Gaia, Nemesis, Charon and Selene. However, due to new enemies growing stronger, a new power is needed. The Saint Power of the Holy Relics of the Solar System! And here the stage enters the last new warrior, Sailor Leto, who grants a new power to everyone.

*SilverStar-Aanti asked me to draw this brooch for Saint Sailor Neo Moon as a form of help from my side ^^ I accepted this challenge without a second though I don't know what this brooch is/will be used for as *SilverStar-Aanti didn't tell me anything beside that the brooch should be a detailed version of what can be seen on the individual picture of Saint Sailor Neo Moon posing and it should be similar to the one for Saint Sailor Moon (that's why I recolored it into Neo Moon's version of the brooch). Without any hint, I did this brooch with all of my might ^^

I did this request because I had an idea on how to make it! When I don't have an idea for image, I don't force myself to come up with something quickly. Some of my concepts come surprisingly quickly, while others can mature very long. What is more, I'm a perfectionist! That's probably the best reason I can give as an explanation. It is just how I function. I hope nobody feels hurt that I did this image for *SilverStar-Aanti and didn't for the others

I worked really hard on this deviation! Even if it is a recolor of Saint Sailor Moon's brooch (on which I have spent 10 days 3 hours every day designing, coloring, shading and correcting), this picture took me 3 days of work (3 hours each day). And I think it was totally worth it. I also believe that the brooch for Saint Sailor Neo Moon looks different than that for Sailor Moon. Maybe they share similar elements and linearts, but all the color combinations make them really different. You must agree with me.

After completing the brooch for Saint Sailor Neo Moon, I'm now getting prepared to do the 3rd item for another Senshi. It won't be a brooch. It will be something different, but still as transformation item. After that I will draw 3 extra Saint brooches for 3 different Senshi that belong to *SilverStar-Aanti. I hope you will like them as much as I'm excited to do them After this I will return to my previous projects which are the SeraMyu brooches and left manga brooches of Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon

Please read the description in the "Colors" and "Details" sections when I explained the design issues. Here I can only say that I tried to make the design fitting other Saint Items designed by *SilverStar-Aanti for her fanmade season. There is a semi-tradition in Sailor Moon that items of the same season share some elements. Just look on the Crystal Change Rods and Kaleidomoon Scope. Aren't they similar? Especially the handle and snake-like ornament. But as I said, read the "Colors" and "Details" sections to learn more.

COLORS:
This is very important part of the description of the design presented here, so I decided to make separate section for colors for this deviation. All the colors (with some exceptions) used for this brooch were taken from *SilverStar-Aanti's deviations and are her color choices! Please, respect this!

Similarly to what I did on the Saint Sailor Moon's brooch, I thought that since *SilverStar-Aanti asked me to draw the Saint Sailor Neo Moon's brooch I want to make it the best I can. That's why I planned from the start to use color choices of *SilverStar-Aanti. This is because I want the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch to fit other Saint Items drawn by *SilverStar-Aanti. So to keep this rule I decided to fall under, I'm using *SilverStar-Aanti skin tone color for Chibiusa as well as the color of her nails (which is her main color as chosen by *SilverStar-Aanti).

The golden used here comes from Saint Sailor's Items and is also *SilverStar-Aanti's universal golden color used widely on her Sailor Items and also used on the Hopefully Moon Sceptre. The same goes for the white color of the wings. *SilverStar-Aanti uses it on many of her Sailor Items and I decided to keep color consistency and reuse it here. Also, the pink of the top crown, the big circle that contains the Pink Moon Crystal and bottom gem (between smaller wings) is also taken from *SilverStar-Aanti. This is the main (image) color of Sailor Chibi/Neo Moon as chosen by *SilverStar-Aanti and the color of Saint Sailor Neo Moon's transformation wand.

Why I used Saint Sailor Neo Moon's main color on this brooch is no mystery for you. If I have used different color it would be extremely weird. Beside it also appears on the Hopefully Moon Sceptre, so why it shouldn't on the transformation brooch? And I find it quite fitting the whole design. Saint Sailor Neo Moon seems to have this color as her main aura. Her secondary aura color is reddish pink color that I took from the Sceptre's attack background and used it as a color for the gem on the big moon on the main frame and in the background. I believe you can see which gem I mean.

The colors of the gems are coded with Sailor Senshi's (connected to Chibiusa, so with the Asteroid Senshi) image colors chosen by *SilverStar-Aanti. The Asteroid Senshi are counterparts of the main Senshi (Canon and Original Characters of *SilverStar-Aanti) and the order of the colors of the gems is a reflection of the colors of the main Sailor Senshi. In place of Sailor Mercury's gem from Sacrum Moon Brooch, on the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch there is a gem for Sailor Pallas.

The gems belong to (from left to right): Pallas, Vesta, Juno, Ceres, Iris (SS-A's OC), Metis (SS-A's OC), Selene (SS-A's OC), Moon, Satellite (SS-A's OC), Eunomia (SS-A's OC), Astraea (SS-A's OC), Hebe (SS-A's OC), Hygiea (SS-A's OC), Parthenope (SS-A's OC) and Themis (SS-A's OC). The red one under the Silver Crystal belong to Sailor Leto (SS-A's OC; it is shown here because Sailor Leto gives Saint Powers to the Senshi), while the white/gray one above the Silver Crystal belongs to Helios (Chibiusa's future husband in *SilverStar-Aanti's story; placed just as Mamoru was for Usagi).

The color of the light pink gems on the sides of Sailor Leto's gem comes from Saint Sailor Moon's Saint brooch. It is the color of the main pink orb (the gem/circle that contains the Silver Crystal) of the Sacrum Moon Brooch and accessory color of Saint Sailor Moon's costume and the color of the gem from Sanctuary Moon Relic Sceptre (the one between the wings on crescent-like ornament). I thought it would be a good choice and a homage to one of Sailor Moon's image colors. This shade of pink fits my color concept of Saint Sailor Neo Moon's brooch so I thought I should use it ^^ And it was a good decision.

As for the gem of Helios. I thought that it would be super cool to add the stones/gems that would represent husbands/partners of the Sailor Senshi. Sailor Moon's future husband is of course Tuxedo Kamen. As I mentioned in the "Explanation" section, in *SilverStar-Aanti's fanstories, in the 30th century Chibiusa marries to Helios and have with him a daughter. As image color of Helios I decided to use a milky white color with blue shades. I think it is a good color choice that fits the brooch's color palette which I wanted to be held in pink/white palette.

<sup>Something about the gems for Moon, Satellite and Selene...
Because this is Neo Moon's Saint brooch I couldn't place a gem for her on the bottom line of the brooch (the bottom part of the frame) among the gems of the other Sailor Senshi. It would be a little awkward. And so, I had to put a gem for someone else. The one who was left was of course Sailor Mooon, who couldn't have a gem on the brooch for herself (the Sacrum Moon Brooch). It is quite logical and I think you understand my decision for this.

Continuing... Because Sailor Moon is superior to Sailor Satellite, she took her place on the biggest gem position at the bottom of the brooch. Sailor Satellite was moved on the right on the 2nd biggest gem, not on the left where previously was gem for Sailor Neo Moon. She took the place of Sailor Selene's gem, while Sailor Selene took the place of Sailor Neo Moon's gem. This is like this because of the color composition. What I mean is the nice order of the gem's colors.

If Sailor Selene's gem was left where it was, it would be placed between the white gem of Sailor Moon and light blue gem of Sailor Eunomia. I strongly believe that with such 3 colors combined, the whole design would be lame and the colors of gems mono-thematic. I didn't want this to happen. I wanted this brooch to be interesting and to look like I did think a lot about it's color concept. I think it was the right decision and I don't regret it. There is also another issue with this.

This problem could also cause another color collision. If the gem of Satellite took place of Sailor Neo Moon's gem, there would be 2 brownish colors next to each other. On the left there is gem for Sailor Metis, which is light brown. Sailor Satellite's gem is reddish brown. And again the order of the gems would look lame with similar colors next to each other, making the whole design mono-thematic and with a bad taste. So yeah, this is another reason why I replaced gems for Selene and Satellite.

Anyway, the gem for Sailor Moon was colored in white, which is Sailor Moon's image color for representative gemstones on her Sailor Items as chosen by *SilverStar-Aanti and is one of Saint Sailor Moon's aura colors. It comes from Sailor Moon's Holy Relic Wand. I color probed it from the said wand. I'm really happy with the result and how good the white gem of Sailor Moon looks. What is more, it fits my idea of color palette for Neo Moon's brooch which I wanted to be white/pink.</sup>

The only colors not chosen by *SilverStar-Aanti are my own previously chosen colors. These colors are the white/silver/light blue colors of the gems around the Silver Crystal, circle that has a crescent moon symbol inside on the crown and white pearl (on the crown). The color of the Pink Moon Crystal is the color I always use for it from the beginning and my first pic, while the rest of white/silver colors come from my Javy Star Brooch for Eternal Sailor Moon. Some of the background colors were also chosen by me.

I would like to point out that I didn't do the colored outlines because that's *SilverStar-Aanti's style that I don't think I'm good at. My style is using black outlines with the exceptions of crystals; outlines. Also, I didn't want to copy *SilverStar-Aanti's identity, because I'm not that kind of a person who steals other's ideas and style of being on deviantART. Mind that! I hate when some copies other's style/identity on deviantART.

6th August 2012OMG! *SilverStar-Aanti really liked my design for her Sailor Sailor Neo Moon! Yupi! I'm so happy with this! I received so many great feedback from her that I couldn't imagine to receive She gave me many warm words that I blushed so much! I was actually speechless after reading her comment and I had a banana smile for the whole day that I couldn't hide from my family lol

You won't believe me! What is more, *SilverStar-Aanti proposed me to make my design an official design of Saint Sailor Neo Moon's transformation brooch. I was extremely surprised as it This is probably the best reward I could get for my hard work and time put into creation process of this brooch I'm so happy! This was my luckiest day on the DeviantART ^^ I'm still shocked and can't believe this happened. But it did!

So from now on my design of this brooch becomes the official design for Saint Sailor Neo Moon's henshin item Similarly as it happened to Saint Sailor Moon's brooch of my design ^^ Isn't it great!?

DETAILS:
I want to point out that, as mentioned in the "explanation" section, Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch is a recolored Sacrum Moon Brooch of Saint Sailor Moon. This is done like this because of *SilverStar-Aanti's request, who wanted the brooch of Saint Sailor Neo Moon to be similar to Saint Sailor Moon's (I mentioned it earlier), but with some colors changed. So I did as she wanted. Read more about the Sacrum Moon Brooch here: [link] I explained there the design issues of the brooch.

Time for details explanation! ^^ As you can see there, the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch is extremely detailed. This is done like this as my plan was to make the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch amazing in this aspect. Something like a Holy Grail in brooch form. When I was making the Sacrum Moon Brooch of Usagi I even thought that it could be a completely new evolved form of the Holy Moon Chalice. It would be an evolution process of the Holy Grail from "S" season of SM. What do you think? Does it make sense?

The top crown of the brooch is the same as the crown from Holy Relics wands of regular planetary Senshi. I thought that this element can be an image detail of all the transformation items from Sailor Moon - Holy Relic. I have traced the one from the Holy Relic wands as the lineart presented by *SilverStar-Aanti was so good that I had to use it. I took the crown from Sailor Moon's wand as it was the first of wands of Saint Senshi I used for color reference.

As you can see I have colored it almost exactly the same way. So the side details are pink as well as the center moon. However, I decided to change the color of plate that moon appears on. For a better contrast I decided to use white that is my own color choice. Also, the top dot-gem was recolored to white for better effect and to be more entertaining. I think it was rather good choice ^^

<sup>As written on the Saint Sailor Moon's Sacrum Moon Brooch:
The bigger side wings come from the Sanctuary Moon Relic Sceptre. I have traced them from *SilverStar-Aanti's picture to keep the proportions as I didn't want them to look ugly or unnatural. The way *SilverStar-Aanti drew them is the best so why not use them? Beside the lineart of the wings I also reused shading lines from *SilverStar-Aanti. To make them detailed I have added some more shades (some lines, plates, stamps and small dots).

Because the wings are very big, it makes them quite troublesome. That's why I made them transparent and left their golden skeleton. On small image like the pose of Saint Sailor Neo Moon you don't see any wings coming out from the brooch. And since the bigger wings are actually BIG, they would be visible on such pose image where the brooch is simplified. The only option was to make them transparent.

I think it was a good decision and makes the wings more interesting as opposite to if they were 100% visible. Such big wings would make the whole brooch look really heavy. There is no such problem with the smaller wings, but the big one made the brooch as if it would look extremely weighty. So that's the issue. I left the golden frames of these wings solid as I don't think they are that heavy. They are actually light and look slim.

The smaller bottom wings come from the Hopefully Moon Sceptre of Saint Sailor Neo Moon. I have traced the lines from *SilverStar-Aanti's deviations to keep the actual proportions of them. I really wanted the wings to looks nice so I decided to take what *SilverStar-Aanti drew and in fact for the same reasons like for the bigger wings

Originally on the Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch I wanted the wings to be light pink (in the color of Hopefully Moon Sceptre's handle). However, the whole design looked so pink that it killed my eyes. It was lame and not so nice. The color balance was crappy and ugly. It broke my white/pink color scheme for this brooch. So I decided to stay with the white wings like the ones on Saint Sailor Moon's brooch. I think it was good choice after all ^^</sup>

On the individual pose image of Saint Sailor Neo Moon you can see that there is a big pink plate in Saint Sailor Neo Moon's color on the brooch. I didn't want to make it plain pink so I decided to enrich the design making the pink part a glass-like material and put something inside. Since this is the Saint form I thought immediately about the Silver Crystal in lotus form as looked from the top but altered to fit Sailor Neo Moon. I recolored it in pink and made it into manga Pink Moon Crystal, Sailor Crystal of Chibiusa.

The Pink Moon Crystal I used here is a recolored Silver Crystal that comes from my deviation for the fanmade opened form of the manga Eternal Moon Article of Sailor Moon from the 5th season. It can be found here: [link] The color of the Pink Moon Crystal comes from my dedicated deviation for it. See it here: [link] It is an image of Pink Moon Crystal as Chibi Moon's Star Seed.

I find it a great idea that the Pink Moon Crystal is being used What is more, to make the inside even more detailed I have added some white/light blue (my own chosen white/light blue color) around the Pink Moon Crystal. Originally they were like 25% bigger than the ones presented here. I had to shrink them as they covered too much space. Anyway, I find them really fitting. I hope you think the same like me.

Firstly, the idea for the pinkish red gem on the big golden moon frame comes from Wedding Peach anime (another magical girl anime, quite similar to Sailor Moon) in which main character's henshin item and weapon - the Saint Miroir had such ornament. I thought it would fit Saint brooch so I used it. It is colored in red(dish pink) for homage to Saint Sailor Neo Moon's background aura during attack being in this color. I think it is a nice idea ^^ I did this also because I wanted the reddish pink color to be used somewhere

Secondly, the idea for the Sailor Senshi color coded gems comes from *SilverStar-Aanti's Sancturary Moon Relic Sceptre. You can see them around pink gem that is in the center of the wings. I placed them similarly to as seen on the sceptre, around the base of the brooch (which looks like a big light pink gem from the sceptre). I even decided to keep the same order of the gems but altered to fit Neo Moon's Asteroid Senshi who are counterparts of main Sailor Senshi (read more about the order in the "colors" section). I really wanted to include all Asteroid Senshi's image colors on this Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch ^^

I decided to use new hands for this image ^^ They come from Wedding Peach anime (mentioned before). These hands could be seen during Love Angels' finishing group attack from the DX episodes performed by all 4 Ai Tenshi. I think they fit Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch perfectly and bring a mystical feeling to the whole picture. I have drawn them with colored nails to fit Sailor Senshi theme and added more shades to make the hands look more detailed and show that the brooch shines ^^

BACKGROUND:
As for the background, I decided to edit (reuse) one done by me for Saint Sailor Moon brooch which is based on my SeraMyu Sailor Moon brooch's BG, as I really love it. I hope that no one minds that I also thought that this background would fit well Saint Sailor Neo Moon, so why not using it? Originally I have not planned to use the light creme/pink gradient line and used only the pink/red gradient, but the design was too simple so I added that creme gradient

The background consist of reddish pink gradient (like on Sailor Neo Moon's Saint attack), middle magenta light stream, small white bubbles, big yellow bubbles, small white stars, special shiny white star-like dots, shiny white burst lines (the rounded ones come from my manga Crystal Star Compact), light creme/pink gradient line, geometrical figures burst, dangling white/light blue stars coming out from bottom gem*** and white shining feather outlines.

I should mention that for the outlines of the shining feathers I have used picture from google graphics. Here is the link to it: [link] and a credit for the creator of it. I really like how it turned out! I think I managed to make it interesting for viewer's eye and actually holy ^^ I hope you like it as much as I do

***Also, I want to mention that the geometrical figures burst and dangling stars brushes were not made by me. They were created as a brush set by someone else. I don't remember the owner of it, since I downloaded this brush long ago (about 2 years ago). I'm really sorry for that! But here is a credit for the creator of it who I thank really much! ^^

ABOUT THE BROOCH'S NAME:
<sup>When I was creating a name for Saint Sailor Moon's brooch, from the beginning I wanted the brooch to have some nice "holy" name. At first I thought to name it Holy-Moon Spirit Brooch. However, I later thought that it is quite silly and not so holy as I wanted it to be. My second idea, and actual one is Sacrum Moon Brooch. The "Sacrum" word comes from Latin and is used in Polish language to describe a "holy place; sacred sphere"). I went the same road with naming Neo Moon's brooch...

I wanted the brooch for Neo Moon to have a similar name as the one for Saint Sailor Moon. I decided to leave the "Sacrum" word in the Neo Moon's brooch. At first I thought about naming it "Sacrum Neo-Moon Brooch", but the name wasn't so catchy and rhythmical as the one for Sailor Moon. Then I thought to move "Neo-Moon" part at the beginning of the name of the brooch, and so the final name was decided to be: Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch, which sounds quite nice and poetical in some way I think.

I really like the name of the Saint Sailor Neo Moon's brooch as much as the one for Saint Sailor Moon. I'm really proud of it actually ^^ Also, I must to explain why I connected the words "Neo" and "Moon" together. I did this for an illusion to make you think that the name is shorter than it really is. Look: "Neo Moon Sacrum Brooch". It looks really long as it haves 4 parts. But if you write "Neo-Moon Sacrum Brooch" it surprisingly appears to be easy and simple. That is weird, but I find the effect it gives really useful

I find both names quite fitting since in my designs you can find the Pink Moon Crystal and in case of Sailor Moon it is the Silver Crystal in lotus forms, which are said to be the most precious items in Sailor Moon universe. So in fact to be a Saint items.</sup>

Hello everyone! OMG! Only a week passed since I posted something last time! It it unbelievable! Today I'm bring you a new picture which was requested by *SilverStar-Aanti It is a brooch for her Saint Sailor Neo Moon from her 6th fanmade season - Sailor Moon - Holy Relic, which I love so much! You must check it out (but I believe you already know it) The reason why I post a new image so quickly is the fact that it was a recolor of my previous work ^^ But this recolor was actually a time consuming one...

However, I do realize that I recently started to post a lot less pictures and I know that I'm horrible with uploads in the last 6 months. But the thing is that I started to be too much of a perfectionist. The time it takes me to make new items increased so much that sometimes I work 2 weeks on something new o.O (not to mention writing the description). But from your feedback I see it is worth it So yeah, I will try to be even better in the quality of the future pictures ^^

My recent works that I'm working on are repairing mistakes in Fairy Tones deviations, finishing the rest of the lockets from manga, mostly I want to do the opened form of Moon Crisis Compact and Crisis Chibi Moon's compact from the manga (in both - opened and closed forms), but it will of course have my special add-ons. Also, there are brooches from SeraMyu musicals! I still have not forgotten to make more of them! I will do more! Expect them to come!

And about today's project. I worked quite hard on it so don't steal. *SilverStar-Aanti asked me to draw Saint brooches for Saint Sailor Moon and Saint Sailor Neo Moon (plus one special transformation item that I'm working on in the same time). After the brooch for Sailor Moon I did this lovely brooch for Neo Moon. It is similar to Sailor Moon's but with changed colors, so it was quite easy to make. However, I think that it is also very lovely and original. It doesn't look like a mere copy of Sailor Moon's brooch in my opinion ^^

I still have problems with art thieves. Some of them copies from me the whole idea for the picture without even saying a damn word! This just horrible and unfair. I check every day a few websites to see if they are stealing. I almost lost my fun with drawing the Sailor Items because of this. But this changed thanks to *SilverStar-Aanti, who requested this awesome picture! She made that I felt that I need to make more Sailor things, so here is the new picture
